Well it ended up costing me $175, but it's in the garage, in a lot better shape outwardly than i thought. Very little rust. Now I'll have to find out what part broke when the starter kicked back, need to get the side case off. What is something good to prop it up with since the side stand will have to be removed. Also I ordered a copy of a a Clymer mortorcycle repair manual for the 86-88 savage, it was 28.60 with shipping. Is this a good repair book or is there a better one avail for an 86 model? I'm gonna start taking pics and hopefully if i run into any snags someone might see something I dont! All help welcome, i'm not that proud!!!
